Wedding Zone @ photokina 2018

At photokina 2018, Marc Ludwig and his team from were charged with running a presentation stage with a live stream for the Wedding Zone, an area on the world’s largest photography trade show dedicated to wedding photography. “We’ve produced and streamed over 20 shows live in the past two days - no hiccups,” says Marc about his experience using mimoLive on their Macs. “It has been working flawlessly. We couldn’t do it without mimoLive.” The setup uses a front camera and an additional side view as well as an HDMI video input that allows guests to bring presentations on their own laptops or mobile phones. All is tied together with mimoLive and spiced up with lower thirds and other graphics as well as b-roll video. “A technology that’s just amazing,” Marc concludes, “it does an outstanding job for us here at the Wedding Zone.”

FotoMagico 5.6.4

macOS Mojave seems to keep throwing curve balls, but we're hitting some with this latest release. For example, the French and German localisations displayed a bright line across the screen and some menu items weren't properly translated. All fixed!

If you got FotoMagico from the Mac App Store, download the update from the "Updates" tab. If you got FotoMagico from our FastSpring store or as part of a bundle, download here:

Download the latest Skype Desktop for Mac or Windows, turn on NDI and all your calls will be available on the local network as NDI sources. This makes it super easy to work with Skype in mimoLive. If you don’t want to force your callers to sign up with Microsoft, mimoLive offers a great alternative with mimoCall.
