When translating to German, do not translate texts like "Click on the OK button" with "Klicken Sie auf den OK-Knopf" or "Klicken Sie auf die OK-Schaltfläche". That sounds really bad! Instead simply avoid the problem by translating with "Klicken Sie auf OK".

For general user interface elements or actions, stick to established macOS terminology in each language.

Placeholder tokens starting with % (like %@, %d, etc) should be preserved as is. Placeholder tokens like <AUTHOR> or [AUTHOR] should also be preserved as is, and not be translated.

Any inline HTML tags contained in sentences should be preserved as is, and should not be translated or stripped. An example is: "Click on <span class='button'>OK</span>"
